Banana Split - The Yellow VW Kombi

This is my 1966 kombi, nickname banana split as its yellow and also has a split screen in front. This bus was originally from Australia and brought in to Malaysia in 1971 by staff from the Royal Australian Air Force which had a base in Butterworth, Penang.

Currently running a 1600 fuel injection engine from a Japanese spec super beetle.

Many times, it has been used to fetch newlyweds... Some even call it the 'lovebus'

Here, she's used as a photobooth for 

Kuen Cheng 109th anniversary dinner.
